Sæga Hrafnárí (SEYE.gah RAHP.ow.ree)
Sæga , daughter of Brenne Skjókríní (a.k.a. Sæga Hrafnárí)
Sæga Hrafnárí, born Sæga daughter of Brenne Skjókríní, was a significant national and cultural hero to the Wylden. Her most commonly known and used epithet, Hrafnárí, means "little raven" in Tallað.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Sæga was very short in stature, with a lean and compact build. She tended toward athleticism her whole life, having trained with weaponry from an early age, and remained physically active and spry well into her late years.
Facial Features
As a first-generation descendant of a Dire Raven ("Half-Raven"), her skin is a very dark brown/black. Her facial features are delicate and expressive, with a heart-shaped face; a slightly long, broad nose (a common Wylden trait) ; and large, golden-brown eyes. She is described by Næan as being “gorgeous”.
Apparel & Accessories
After her shipwreck, and subsequent rescue by Hífhrafn and introduction to Næan, Sæga was given a set of clothes by the latter that she would wear or duplicate for much of the rest of her life; they consisted of a heavy, hooded cloak, a woolen kirtle, snug woolen trousers, and a pair of knee high, laced leather boots.
Once introduced to the mysterious Runesmith Kífn, she added a leathern harness with a variety of pouches and a travel satchel attached, the whole thing designed to distribute weight and lend aid to her adventures.

Education
In her youth, she was educated by the best tutors that could be found, aided by her father being a Dire Raven who was quite fond of his human daughter and wanted her well-taught (he participated in some of her teaching himself, from time to time), as well as by her family's prominent position.
Later her knowledge and wisdom increased by leaps and bounds under the teachings of Næan, Hífhrafn, Kífn, Búrí, Gíðí, and the Librarian.
Mental Trauma
When she was just fifteen, Sæga joined the first of the many Fájunn raids in which she would participate during her life; this experience left a deep impression on her.
After her shipwreck in her twentieth year, she would sometimes exhibit nervousness and anxiety when aboard ship.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Sæga's greatest motivation in her younger years was to live her life well and to leave her people the better for her having lived. In this way, she believed, she might be seen as worthy by the gods, and raised up as a warrior of spirit after her death, serving their will.
