Khelegan
Khelegan is the commonly used name, proliferated by the Zendylite Empire , for the southernmost known continent of Gæðí. It is separated from Abhagan by the Strait of Zedividti and the Targotian Sea. The countries of Ekkac, Ja'ara, Mor'Rhavid, and Targos are all located entirely on Khelegan, as is much of the modern-day Zendylite Empire. The center of the continent is a massive desert, in which Tanaari, also known to many simply as 'the Desert Folk', dwell and carry trade between nations.
Geography
Much of the north and west coast is temperate and fertile, as is a large swathe of the southeastern coast. Only a few hundred miles inland however, almost the entire continent is ringed by tall mountains, creating the vast Great Khelegaian Desert within. In the far east, Ekkac and Mor'Rhavid tend to be rather dry, with the exception of their lush rivers.
History
Before the Targotian Cataclysm, much of what is now the Targotian Sea was then a vast expanse of grassy plains and highland plateaus, making for far less distinct boundaries between Khelegan and Abhagan.
