The Vespin Elves of Eleyond (Summer Elves) Vespin elves have a very powerful ability to heal while in direct sunlight. They are a race that takes care of nature and defends against those who tarnish it. The Vespin subrace are trained in both magic and combat. They learn a magic known as Treesapping where they can reach back into the spirits of long lost guardians of the Green to ask advice. The yellow spots on their skin are solar receptors. If it is a sunny day, vespin elves are stronger and move faster.

The Bayooan Elves of Osthollow (Swamp Elves) The least magical of the 6 variations, they are strong and hard working. They have learned to live within the marshes and build their homes out of sticks and mud. They can breathe underwater and use trained patience and camouflage to blend in with the world around them. They have dark green skin that is stained with mud and dirt. Their eyebrows are stiff ridges as they retain some lizard-like qualities. Their serpentine tongue and eyes allow them to survive harsher environments and foods.

The Cutleaf Elves of Adrionne (Crimson Elves) Aggressive and territorial the Cutleaf elves despise outsiders more than most elves. They focus on camouflage with their changing thin-leafed clothes blending in with the trees around them. Cutleaf elves are fantastic at tracking because they have a thermal vision and also an innate ability to detect magic. The Crimson elves train themselves in fire to resist the fear of a wood elves weakness. They send out a gift to each princess of the Ghaean Courts of a Pyrecone Bracelet, a garment they craft that protects the wearer from fires.

The Hiasynth Elves of Forsythian Glen (Spring Elves) The Symphony is the entire colony. They are pacifists and refute any signs of violence. They farm fruit trees and eat no meat, only insects. The Conductress is the leader, a very androgenous race where it is hard to tell from only a face if a Hiasynth Elf is male or female. They are very musically gifted and live in the Vulcanyon Valley because of it’s great acoustics that are used for their ceremonies. Their ears are wider than most and the symbol on their heads resonate with sound. As it glows orange from perfect harmony their connection with those around them grows. The other elves even find the Hiasynth quite odd.

The Kerrian Elves of Grovesend (High Elves) Magocracy of High Elves. Are less good at natural magic then their cousins in other ethnicities but are much more powerful magic users in every other form compared to their brethren. They rival even the best spellbook casters in the realm. They think of themselves as higher class than most other people and use hallucinogenic mushrooms to reach a state of enlightenment as they write and learn. The High elves are slim and pale, they are born with intricate white markings covering their bodies. Their ears stand very tall as does their egos.

The Thistlepine Elves of Snowdrop (Winter Elves) Hearty northern wood elves who live in the mountains. They have adapted to cold like a conifer tree. They have learned to live without much magic but are stronger than most of their cousins. If you were to put the 6 subraces of wood elves in a fist fight, a thistlepine elf would most likely win. Resistant to cold and can store their chloroheal ability throughout harsh winters. The light blueish green skin is a result of living in the clouded area of the mountains. They moved up there many years before because they struggled in the heat of the forests. The thistlepine elves have blubber like material in their body to adapt to the cold of a mountain peak.
