This town is hidden within a normal sized badger skull laying on the ground but once someone walks up to it, they shrink in size to fir into the skull.
An Inferno spreads across the Feywild, and only the most cunning survive. Thanks to the quick thinking of a brilliant Mouse, the tiny town of Glintmaw was saved. They now exist between the Feywild and the Mortal Plane; the town is now only accessible via the Mortal Plane, while the town itself exists within the Feywild, where the flames are magically held back.
Hundreds of years ago, a tribe of nomadic Mousefolk found themselves lost in the Feywild. Their numbers were few, and they were starving... So when a mysterious woman offered food and shelter they eagerly accepted. They returned to her home and she gave them bread and soup… But before they could eat, a great Dire Badger burst through the door and tore the evil Hag to pieces. The badger, old and wise, informed the mice that the food was poisoned, and taught them how to forage and defend themselves from the evils that lurk in the depths of the woods. The badger, known as Glint, befriended the Mousefolk and stayed with them until the end of its days. The mice, ever resourceful, used Glint’s body to build a shelter. Their numbers multiplied and eventually the town of Glintmaw was established. Glint’s skull still serves as the entrance to the town to this day. Even in death, Glint protects the smallfolk, and many still believe its spirit watches over them.

Not long after the establishment of Glintmaw, a group of desperate Kenku found their way to the Skull of Glintmaw. The Mice were uneasy at first, but came to find the Kenkus to be charming and gifted in ways that they were not. Glintmaw was settled on the edge of a large river… And one day, a large cluster of Grung eggs washed up on the riverbank. Shortly after, the Grungspawn hatched. The denizens of Glintmaw couldn’t bring themselves to turn away the cute little frog-folk. A few other beings have found their way into the town over the years, including a few dryads, nymphs, satyrs and faeries.

The village is led by a mighty grizzly bear, known simply as Bin-Go. He’s an enigmatic figure, beloved by all within the town. Not much is known about him or where he came from, and he seems to live an odd but simple life. Bin-Go is a mute naturist, eats anything he can find, and will periodically go into hibernation in his cave. His methods of ruling are strange, but many consider him to be a visionary.
Within mousefolk society, there have always been the Greencloaks; guides, scouts, envoys, and warriors. The Greencloaks are masters of the wilderness and act as the town’s first line of defence. (Yes, this is a reference to Mouseguard.)
Between the predators and the rarity of open fields, the Feywild isn’t a suitable environment for horses… And horses aren’t particularly good mounts for a town of beings that average 2’ tall. Magical, teleporting Blink Dogs are bred and trained to act as steeds and companions.
