Finn Maleck is a strong man with a white stubble and a charming voice. He is the ship's first mate and is known for his strength and his love for a good brawl. His hair is white but he looks no older than twenty-five years old. Finn grew up in Turin but sailed with the Kraken so he knows Morty.

Fishing village with corrupt officials and black market trading. Slavers travel through, as do pirates and thieves. The town has a public arena where men fight to the death.
Lives with his godparents working at the local blacksmith. Doesn’t want to live in Turin anymore, he is afraid that he will be lost to the town. He believes he will lose his morals if he stays here.
Father was killed in the arena, mother passed away before he could remember. Finn is taken care of by the Maleck family; his godparents.
Cane Maleck (Cane), Daliya Maleck (Daliya), James Maleck (James) and Stephen Maleck (Stephan), the children of his godfather The Great Eagle and godmother Raven. He has a few other friends from Turin. Most of the Maleck family took over Ivan's old trading routes.

Finn doesn’t think he is special. He feels that he is bad and that if he stays in the corrupt town of Turin, he will eventually become what he hates; his father.

He is surrounded by corruption but yearns to be good. Finn has impulses of bad behaviour. Fighting, Stealing, Lying but wants to better himself. He try's to stay away from bad types but Turin has so many untrustworthy characters that he feels he is losing himself to the bad ways.
In a town where men fought each other in an arena just to make some quick cash, a town where women sold their bodies to make a living, and a town where people would kill you for looking at them wrong, this town of Turin is where Finn was born.
He was an ordinary boy roped into an amazing adventure.
Growing up in the town of Turin, Finn heard the sailor’s tales of great magical creatures that lived far from Turin.
The sea stories were the only feel of how the world was outside of his dying city.
Turin was located in the province known as the Eastern Coast, a place renowned for its lack of mystical energies and its acceptance of the ordinary.
Finn grew up with a father that was always home but never awake. Byron, Finn’s father, was an alcoholic and a scumbag.
His only steady job was being a brawler, a man who went bare knuckles with a man in similar circumstances. Whoever won got the match reward.
Most nights Byron came home with nothing except for more ale.
Finn was only six at the time, his father had not been home all night.
The young child with the white hair would go looking for his drunken father at one of the brothels on the edge of town.
Young Finn sat in his shanty house eating porridge when a city guard knocked on his door. The guard revealed that Finn’s father had taken out too much money with a loan shark.
Late last night his father was confronted by the dealer and in his drunken stupor, Byron killed the man.
Finn did not know how to feel, he just sat there. His face was like a blank page
Byron was shipped off to the impenetrable Skygarde prison.
The guard answered a knock on the creaky door. The Great Eagle walked in and hugged the young boy. Ivan had watched Finn grow up as his godfather.
Ivan stood over six feet tall; his face was rugged but still handsome. Finn’s godfather's stubble was rough to Finn’s cheek, but the young boy felt at ease within his arms.
Finn was left only the house upon his father's jailing.
This small compensation did not last long, for the bank did not hesitate to claim the residence to help pay off Byron's debts.
Ivan adopted the young child as his own.
Finn spent the next eleven years of his life growing up with the Maleck family, who seemed to be some of the only decent people left in this town.
Like all people from the fishing community of Turin, Finn had very tan skin but that is about the only thing he shared with the brigands and thieves that grace his streets.
Finn had two abnormalities that he has had since birth: his hair was as white as snow, or so he was told as Finn had never actually seen snow, and his distinguishing white birthmark striped over his left eye like a scar.
Finn had worked for the local blacksmith since he was fifteen.
He was seventeen now and the hard work had done Finn well.
He was skinny but very muscular for his size.
The small house may have been three stories high but was not big in any way, the shanties of Turin had no yards and the only way to make room for a bigger family, was to build upwards.
When his godparents adopted Finn, Ivan built an addition to the two floored home so Finn did not have to share a room.
Finn had grown up with this family and considered them as close as he would a blood relative.
The kitchen was as small as a bedroom. The cupboards were coming off their hinges, but that was the same for everything and everyone in Turin, most things had a few screws loose.
Raven had silky black hair and very tanned, white skin.
She was beautiful but would never admit it herself.
She was as beautiful as her mother, but Daliya still had that smug, I’m-better-than-everyone look to her. She wore a white summer dress with a whitestar flower in her hair. She wore decorative bead bracelets on both her wrists.
Cane was the oldest of the Maleck children but not by much, three minutes in fact. Cane and Stephen were twins, and although they were identical in appearance, they had opposite personalities. The twins always knew what their look-a-like was thinking, the main difference between the two was that Cane was a doer and Stephen was a thinker. Together they make the perfect schemers. The two brothers have butted heads throughout the years but if a situation was dire, they would go to the underworld and back for each other. Cane opened his door, he wore a hooded yellow shirt with a black vest made of silk over top. His hair was longer and curled at the ends into wingtips. He was very buff and had a full stubble beard just like his father.
Stephen stood the same height as his twin, but was significantly smaller in muscle size. When chores are given out, Cane just does the heavy lifting, Stephen usually would try to come up with some sort of way to make it easier for himself, hence why he was not as strong as his twin brother. Stephen wore a brown overcoat over a white shirt. Over the shirt was a red band that stretched from his waist to over his shoulder. This band is where he stores his tools. The smaller twin had no stubble except for some scruff on his chin. Stephen had shorter brown hair, similar to Finn's length, with the middle spiking up. His hair was very long at the back but he tightly braided it into a longer ponytail that he tucked into his overcoat.
James was 8 years old and could eat more than anyone in the house. His appetite did not match his waist as James was a very scrawny kid. As most free-spirited 8 years old boys, James wore no shoes and no shirt, just walked around town in his beige shorts.
Finn and Stephen had always loved to climb, his quirky older brother had taught Finn how to easily navigate the city by climbing and free-running around the rooftops.
The Caged Snake were a gang of miscreants that enjoyed tormenting and taking advantage of weary travellers. They usually stay within the Turin borders but it was never routine for the group's leader, Catus Remo. This skinny teenager had grown up with a rivalry with Finn as both their father's were brawlers in the fighting pit. Unfortunately for Finn, his biological father had been sent to Skygarde prison while Catus' father was promoted to captain of the city guard.
Billium meets a young trader named Finn. Billium is too clever to be fooled. This man is a pirate.
Billium tells Finn who he is and gives him some life advice on how being a professional criminal can harm your personnel life.
Finn receives a Crowsfeet letter from his father The Great Eagle. Billium offers his help. "Don't slow me down, old man." "It's almost offensive how naïve you are."
Finn and a noble fellow meet the Kraken at the docks of Turin.
Mortimer asks that the stowaway be placed in the brig.
The Kraken picks up Mako, Max and Moriarty and sails to defend Ios.
As the Kraken arrives, red ships are attacking Ios, different from the first set of boats. Mortimer Skytracer takes the wheel as he steers directly at their flagship, which is larger than them.
Mako is terrified that they are about to crash. Suddenly, Mortimer Skytracer veered out of the way as Crag terraformed the beach to move it in front of the flagship. It beached itself.
Mortimer Skytracer swings over to the flagship and drops a daijin grenade, igniting the ship. Mako jumped onto the shore and knocked some sailors out with a tidal wave.
The Great Eagle thanked the crew for the help and told them those men were from Gyaron. He feared that the warlords were making a move to become king of Pacura.
Mortimer decided that Turin would be a good next stop so Finn could talk to Dawn. Who has stopped talking to Finn because he forgets to write back when out at sea.
On the sail back, the sky turns dark and it starts to rain. Mako uses his hydromancy so steer the boat after a big wave knocks Mortimer out.
Finn walks up in the rain and sees Dawn talking to Ozy and rushes in offended. Dawn asks to talk to him alone. She offers him their third cot so he doesn't have to go in the rain.
Finn wakes up in the morning and smells breakfast. He walks in a kisses Dawn on the cheek. After sitting down he realizes that Dawn is at the table. Rose giggles as Dawn turns red.
Dawn asks the newcomers why they are in Turin. Rose: To find my father and escape Dynastes. Ozy: I no longer have a home to return to.
Finn accidentally overpours Dawn's drink as he stares outside. They go see what the goblin wants. "What do you want?" "Friends." Rose shakes his hand.
John Korbin hires Rose, Ozy and Athus as farmhands. Finn offers to work for free to prove he doesn't only want money in life.
On what seemed like a normal day, an injured man stumbled onto the property. Dawn rushed over to help him but he only got "Merrimere" out before he died.
John Korbin explains that Merrimere is a small town northwest of the ranch. Ozy and Rose suit up in what they wore to the farm. Athus carries a meat cleaver.
Finn doesn't want to go since him rushing into things is what drove Dawn away. She tells him to go because they might need help. She kisses him on the cheek.
Ozy, Finn, Rose and Athus near Merrimere but everything seems completely ordinary.
An innkeeper greet them as they enter town. They ask of the man and she tells that it must have been the hags that live outside of town. Ugly disgusting witches.
Rose, Athus, Ozy and Finn start towards the village of hags outside Merrimere
After a long, draining walk. The hags of Merrimere appear to Rose, Ozy, Athus and Finn and heal them. They seem like nice people. Explain they are ghaehi.
Rose bonds with Karilla as the others are allowed to freely explore the village, nothing seems ill intentioned.
Karilla gives Rose a few vials of Lifresh Potion. Rejuvinates as if you've eaten a full days meal.
Ozy, Rose, Finn and Athus start their long walk back to Merrimere to inform them that the "hags" are just half elves who love nature.
After a tiring walk the group of Ozy, Rose, Athus and Finn finally reach Merrimere. The town is eerily empty.
The begin searching but growling is coming from the buildings.
A maddenign howl is heard from the homes. The group cannot think straight. Athus plugs his ears with grass. The beasts emerge from the homes.
upwards of 20 wendigos emerge, terrifying beasts. Athus gives the group more earplugs.
The towering beasts surround the group. Everyone draws their weapons.
Finn looks around the town these beasts must have slaughtered the residents of Merrimere
Ozy swings his kusarigama and throws I, it implaes the cheek of a wendigo. Finn runs through the legs of one to find a weapon. Athus draws his sword.
Rose runs and grabs the hanging chain and swings atop the injured beast. She surgically slits the throat of the beast with her silver stilletto.
Athus dodges a claw attack and hacks at another beasts ankles. Finn finds a torch on a building and some straw bundles. He climbs the building.
Rose jumps off with Ozy's weapon and rolls into him when she lands. They pause for a second to make sure each other are alright then turn to the fight. 1 down. 19 left.
Athus is too small for the beast to grab. He slashes the kness of the beast so it partially falls over. He climbs atop and plunges his sword into the back of it's skull. 18 left.
The beast falls down as the others howl, Athus topples towards his friends. Ozy catches his friend. Athus balances atop Ozy's shoulders.
3 beasts attack at once. The group jump out of the way and the biggest beast claws and takes out one of the smaller wendigos. 17 left.
Rose stops running as she his face to face with a wendigo. The lipless beast sniffs aand a grimace spreads across it's face. "Eww." Rose stabs her stilleto into it's forehead. 16
Athus and Ozy are confronted by the largest wendigo. The beast claws but Ozy stabs it's hairy claw with his gama. The beast recoiled in pain and threw the duo
They conveniently landed on another wendigo. Athus (still on Ozy's shoulders) quickly stabbed the beast's ear. 15 left.
The dying wendigo fell towards the alpha. The alpha aggressively spun trying to get the kusarigama out. In a big swings, the weapon flew out and killed a wendigo by rose. 15
The dying wendigo was on one knee as Rose retrieved Ozy's weapon, jumped off of the beast towards another two. She throws her stilletto at the 9 foot tall beast
As the daggers enters it's skull, she land on the other close wnedgio and slits it's throat with Ozy's weapon. She falls backwards weaponless. 13 left.
The alpha attacks Ozy ad Athus but Ozy goes under the hand as Athus jumps over. They need to work together as Athus' sword is the last weapon available.
Rose gets up, backing towards the alpha as 12 more wendigos surrounds the group. She sees fire atop the roof nearby, it was Finn.
The alpha wendigo lashes at Ozy, seemingly knocking him out, grabbing him and knocking off Athus is one attack.
The wendigo opened it's mouth to eat Ozy. Just as he gets near the needle-like teeth, Ozy actually is still holding onto Athus and swings him around.
With the force of ozy's momentum and Athus' swings, the small goblin decapitates the alpha. 12 left. The beast collapses and the duo roll beside Rose.
Athus dropped his weapon on the roll and the beasts moved in. One suddenlly burst into flames and straw scattered around. Seting the grass on fire.
Finn was lobbing lit straw bundles at the beasts. They were afraid of fire. 2 beasts dies from the fire as 4 ran away from the heat. 6 left.
Finn hit another one with a bundle, scaring 1 additional beast away. Their fur was flammable which ignited their whole bodies. The beast charged the building. 5 left.
The flaming beast destroyed the supports for the bulding in it's last charge. The three story wooden structure started falling towards the team. 4 left.
The building was falling no matter what and the team could not run because of the remaining wendigos. Just before the final support snapped, Finn took a drink from his flask.
Finn leaped from the building as the rest of it ignited. He through his torch midair to hit a charging wendigo. 3 left.
Finn rolled as debris spread around the group, he rolled on to ground and picked up Athus' sword before the building engulfed it. The group ducked as a flaming piece flew by
The charging wendigo dodge the piece and lunged at Ozy, Athus and Rose. A small sword struck right on it's eye brow. Finn join the trio.
All 4 looked up at the last 2 wendigos. Ozt looked back at Finn. "Your sleeves on fire!" "I'b knom" The realized Finn's mouth was full of liquid. Finn winked at Rose and smiled.
Finn ran towards the remaining two. He held up his sleeve and the wendigo cowered slightly. They gained the courage and went for the kill. Finn spit his alcohol through the fire
He went from left to right, in a heroic action, he completely ingnited the first wendigo and in his moment of triumph… he ran out of booze.
Finn stood there sputtering out nothing but saliva at the last wendigo. The first wendigo collaped near Finn, still sindering.
The wendigo bit down on Finn's shoulder and tossed him around. Finn lay lifeless on the ground, earplugs fell out. Ozy opened up the flask and threw it at the beast.
The charred body next to Finn ignited further and caught the fur of the last wendigo. It roared one last time and Finn woke up screaming beside the beast.
Athus, Ozy and Rose try to calm him down, they rush towards the ghaehi living outside Merrimere. Rose carries Athus and Ozy carries Finn.
They arrive at the druid camp and start working on Finn. Karilla explains how the wendigo curse works. If it isn't cured in a few days, Finn will become a wendigo.
Karilla tells Rose that the Lifresh potions will sate Finn's upcoming unsatiable hunger. They hurry off towards the doctor's of Skygarde. Finn continued getting sick.
The group has to rest as Finn gets worse. They sleep for the night but Finn is uncontrollably sobbing without control. The bite has white furs around it.
After another day's walk, Finn is getting worse. He is not responding to anyone and stares at the sky. That night he was haunted by horrible nightmares. Wakes up with cuts.
Rose is super worried as they are still a day away from Skygarde. They continue their journey. Finn looks like he is about to die.
On the nght before the ceremony, Skygarde was close. Rose, Athus and Ozy woke up to the deafening howl of a wendigo.
The saw all of Finn's armor tossed aside away from the camp. Ozy and Rose took off after him. They followed the cackling into a small wood.
Thye walked up on a hunched over Finn, still human, but in his underwear and having small white furs all over his body. Finn looked over at his friends, his eyes glowed yellow.
Finn had a terrible smile across his face, the transformation was almost complete. Ozy told Rose to make sure Finn doesn't walk away alive if he can't be calmed down.
Ozy handed his weapon to Rose and equipped Finn's silver knuckles. As soon as Ozy was close, Finn lunged at him. Finn went for the bite. Ozy punched him away.
The two continued to fight with both being known brawlers. Finn started using the environment. He was fast but Ozy stayed still, awiting his moment.
Finn leaped from the tree to attack and Ozy moved out of the way. Finn was confused, he didn't know Ozy had that much speed. Ozy began pulling the same move.
He ran in circles, matching the possessed Finn's unnatural speed. The tree branch shook and Finn prepared for an aerial attack. Ozy used this distraction.
Ozy ran up beside Finn and superman punched Finn right in the cheek, knocking him out. Rose and Ozy went to get Athus then left for Skygarde.
Early in th morning, Ozy's group finally arrived at the castle. The ceremony preparations were still ongoing. Mortimer Skytracer was walking around disguised. Finn arrived on Ozy's shoulder
Mortimer Skytracer quickly knocked Ozy down and pulled out his two pistols. He pointed one at Ozy and one at Finn. Ozy was not intimidated by the stranger. Mortimer Skytracer moved his aim to Rose.
This caused Ozy to stop. The people of the street froze to watch what was happening. Yacobius Hrothgar was in the crowd.
"How many days?" no answer "HOW MANY DAYS DID HE GET BIT!?" "Four! Four days ago." Mortimer Skytracer put his guns down. "Good, I didn't want to kill one of my best friends."
"Quick, get this man into the castle." Mortimer Skytracer removed his hood and people started cheering for him.
Yacobius Hrothgar stopped Mortimer Skytracer, introduced himself and told him there was nothing he could do, Mortimer declared he had his guns ready for a reason.
Yacobius Hrothgar followed Mortimer Skytracer in. "Do you usually just walk into to castles?" "Sir, I still have the key to this castle." The castle was still in repair. But the medical bay was finished.
The doctor's strapped Finn down just in time for him to wake up and start howling. Doctor Etoile was trying to help him but knew nothing of the supernatural.
Illuir shows up at the castle and starts performing a ritual. She is not powerful for an almost complete wendigo curse. They need to ppurge the evil magic.
Mortimer is worried about Finn. He places his gun on the young boys forehead. "How long does he have?" "minutes" "Everyone get out, I'll deal with with" Yacobius Hrothgar stays.
"You're quite the defiant ex-captain." "Just a new perspective on things. Before we do this, can I try one last thing." "Anything." "No one knows I am now capable of this"
Yacobius Hrothgar placed his hand on Finn's shoulder. The priest's eyes began to glow. Both Yacobius Hrothgar and Finn had a blue glow underneath their skin.
Yacobius Hrothgar and Finn entered an astral plane. It was not Finn but an enormous Wendigo who showed up in this plane. Yacobius Hrothgar armed his war hammer. A dark blade formed
in the hands of his enemy. An epic battle began. Finn's screams were heard from outside the castle.with each astral strike.
The warhammer is knocked away but Yacobius Hrothgar forms light energy armor around his body and a sword to match. The sword fight contines as Finn's screams turn o howls.
Yacobius Hrothgar defeats the wendigo spirit and returns to Finn's bedside. Yacoibius grabs one of Mortimer Skytracer's guns and fires a shot at the wall.
"No one can know the power I hold. I hope to have just proved to you that I can control the immense power of Dhara. They are all listening. You tell them you shot him,
showing them you can do what must be done, and by some miraculous dumb luck, you purged the spirit through your power of friendship or some other bogus, feel-good
reason so they will sympathize. I don't care what your heritage grants you, this city needs hope and if we have to lie to them to gain it, then that will be worth it."
"You greatly underestimate my affinity towards lying." "How noble" "Get to know me first, then judge me" "I apoligize, sire." "I ain't no king yet."
Mortimer Skytracer looked over and winked at Yacobius Hrothgar. "purged the evil that flowed through his innocent heart. I present to you. A cured Finn!" Finn stumbled out and leaned Yacobius Hrothgar.
Cheering went on for several minutes as Ozy got Finn from Yacobius Hrothgar. They all walked over to the tavern.
Finn handed a letter to an imperial pigeon, he was writing to Dawn to explain where he had been. Trumpets sound as he walks back to the tavern.
All of Skygarde attended as the opening ceremonies of a travelling circus came to a close. Everyone cheered as Sir Nikolas came to read the announcements.
Nikolas began reading from a scroll. The first announcement was that there would two captains of the High Guard. Kristoff and Barney
Nikolas announces his resignation and is greeted by a thundering applause due to his years of service.
Finally the announcement bringing out the future king of Skygarde. King Floki Boggan, Tombking Viumu Scrawl and King Addikus Windslayer arrives to stand witness.
Osiris sees Floki looking anxiouly at the guards. Osiris makes his way towards the front. Buckeye notices guards surrounding the public.
Osiris pushes passed Buckeye and Ozymandias. Buckeye recognizes him from the battle with the helioptar. They follow. Each member of their group follow their leader.
Buckeye, Quill, Cassius, Osiris, Rhaynol, Mako, Ozy, Rose and Athus make their way to the front of the group. They all get stuck about twenty feet from the king. Too dense.
Billium runs into Zane when in the crowd. Zane tells him that the sewer hideout is destroyed. Billium tells him to get to Turin after this.
They are cut off by a crowd when Osiris trys to get through. Billium signals over the Syndicate. He sends them over to the young group
The Syndicate indicates them to stay close as they maneuvre their way through the crowd.
The youths made it to the front of the crowd and stood alert. Rose moved to Ozy instead when Mako called her over. Billium moved beside Osiris.
"You sure you know what your doing?" Osiris nodded as he stared down Floki. The music played as Mortimer walked out of the castle.
An old woman walked out after Mortimer Skytracer. They all lined up as the woman revealed the crown. It was Mortimer and Orion's mother. Belladonna
The group were looking to Buckeye and Ozy who were waiting for Osiris. Osiris only just realized the support he had backing him up. He nodded at them all. Ava and Oli squeezed in
Osiris pointed out the guard's eyes. They shined purple, they were imposters.
As Belladonna Skytracer lifted the crown above Mortimer Skytracer's head, the guards started inching closer.
The crown was on the new king's head. Sir Nikolas stood beside him.
An explosion happened behind the crowd. Osiris did not break focus. The guards were closing in on the king. Osiris pushed passed and everyone followed.
In the confusion, Osiris tackled the guard swinging for Mortimer Skytracer. All Mortimer Skytracer saw was the youths rushing the stage, including Finn.
Sir Nikolas grabbed Mortimer and dragged him towards the castle as the imposter guards circled the group. They immediately began fighting.
Rose and Quill backed each other up as they take out a few guards.
Ozy and Osiris easily take out guards and they try and flee
Buckeye and Oli take out a guard and knock it's helmet off. It is a black sun elf. Everyone is running but Skaar, Caleb and Celeste see the face before he puts his helmet on again.
Mako Ava and Rhaynol get the crowd away.
Athus and Cassius defend a small girl from the guard imposters.
As all the guards are defeated, the group of Osiris, Ava, Rhaynol, Oli, Mako, Buckeye, Quill, Cassius, Ozy, Rose and Athus stand in a circle. Real guards rush out of the castle.
Finn went after Mortimer during the fight. Skaar and his children also snuck into the castle.
The guards surrounded the team and the youths were greatly outnumbered. Floki walked up and declares them criminals. They are loaded up into carriages.
Finn hides from the guards that are on high alert
Finn is captured by Nikolas and placed in jail. Nikolas is knocked out inside the jail. Finn tries to wake him up.

You were able to rally the troops and get many Stormbloods to join forces with the rebel Maximus who was already brandishing the nickname of the Ocean Prince from his fellow revolutionaries. As you fought inside the tomb, Max was leading his newly formed Pacuran Royal Navy against Borigan and Thormund's Fleet of the Stormblood.
You won the day although one of your friends betrayed you in the end and stole the phylactery.
You killed Claire and listened as a loud shrieking roar came from outside.
You make your way outside the tomb to the bright light of the Pacuran sun beaming orange light upon the salty ground. On the shore are bodies and driftwood from the carnage of the battle that took place while you fought inside. Max's ship could be seen in the center of many allies you had made along the way.
Your old friend Mako was aboard the Howling Porpoise, captained by the ocean prince Maximus. Mother Maggie the innkeeper was walking around mending the wounds of the injured wayfarers.
Ivan and his family, as well as Merdock and the crew fought together on the Kraken. Along the starboard side of the large galleon, you could see a large hole punctured in the side of the ship with green acid pouring from the hull. This room was formerly home to the Venom Maw Hydra who was Morty's pet. Parsellax died in battle against Lord Borigan after the Zephyrn stormblood retreated from the fight for the phylactery.
A red painted Drakaar (viking longship) bearing the emblem of a hammer forging handcuffs sailed next to the Kraken, dwarfed by its size but filled with just as many warriors. Valda led the Wardens and Stewards of Gyaron on board her late husband's ship the Red Dagger. The last she saw of her two boys Itchee and Tumble was when Lord Borigan ordered Pyrus to take them away. The boys were not in sight aboard any of the ships. Captain Gorbashav could be seen on this ship with a harpoon through his shoulder.
Iggy the Delicious Iguana Jam salesman came out of retirement to be the second mate on the Golden Fleece, this was Quinn's ship. As the ships returned to the Hydri port, Iggy was steering Quinn's ship. Lady Winella of Kinaros could also seen aboard this ship.
A ship you recognized as the Tortuga also sailed for the Pacuran Royal Navy. Although the ship was now covered in fungus as Cortez rallied his myconid minions from Fishrot Hollow to become his crew. Also on board was his wife Nocturna and oddly enough DIckard, the goblin whom Henri forced to do combat to become a member of the Gobsnapper. He was last seen jailed on Kyra so how he ended up with a spore growing on his shoulder and mindlessly following his sovereign Cortez' orders is beyond you.
During your battle, Quinn was captured by Claire and sent back to Thormund's ship, somehow Quinn was able to not only escape her confinements but took over the Onyx Stallion, Thormund's father's ship that he commandeered after the party stole and crashed his brig known as the Blackfly. Thormund could be seen in handcuffs next to Quinn. All of his main recruits were killed by the party in the tomb. Dimitri the priest, Fimbulwinter the winter werewolf and Claire the captain of the goldguard. He also lost the serial killer Dex.
The S. S. Tempest could been seen in the distance with a hole the size of an elephant carved through it's hull, the legendary ship was sinking to the bottom of the Arid Sea with steam coming from the wood. Lord Borigan was nowhere to be seen. In the vast distance you could see 3 ships sailing away. A large purple ship known the the Moonbreaker sailed towards the volcanic mountains of the Firefang Jags, the towering mountain range could be seen silhouetted above the clouds even on the island nation of Pacura. Jericho captained this ship with his rejuvenated Triade of the Fallen Night, Moasis was last seen in the clutches of Jericho. The bone decorated ship known as the Bone Rattler sailed East towards the distant nation of Hearthen, Itchee and Tumble were last seen with Pyrus. Finally the Rosebud, the ship once owned by Olivier before you murdered him by suffocation inside a bag of holding. This ship was captained by Davos, the Merelf fighting alongside Borigan and Pathos. The rosegold ship sailed towards the Caluan Desert province on the mainland.
As the ships sail in, Quinn congratulates you on preventing Thormund and Borigan from obtaining the power of the phylactery. She questions you on where it is. She says that she hates her father for leaving but mostly for choosing to kill her mother Kindra. She says she will tell Maximus what happened and have the history of Henri Sallya corrected across the history books.
Mako comes to talk to you about the battle. When all seemed lost, an ocean dragon leapt from the water and followed Max's lead. This confirmed to many onlookers that he was meant to unite the island nation. He speaks frank for a moment and confesses that in the moment Max was just as confused as anyone. Dragons of all types are a rarity within Galfin, most lay dormant and send their minions to do their bidding. He doesnt know why but that random dragon turned the tide of the battle.
It scared the blackguard off of Thormund's ship which allowed Condor, Ivan's oldest son to swing across and free Quinn. Just as her mother did 30 years before, the Stormblood of Kyra faced against Thormund on the greatest sea battle in recorded history. She took his ship and captured the tyrant. At least his son will have a mother to raise him, Claire is a fierce fighter but also a loving woman.
Arygos reveals that Claire died fighting for the phylactery.
Borigan jumped from ship as the ocean dragon blasted a cone of scalding water at his galleon, destroying it in one blow. This was crucial as the Kraken had suffered a major blow with the loss of Parsellax.
This battle is being dubbed as the Rising Tempest, as this will be the first time since Oceanus Tempest himself gave equal birthright to his 10 children that there will be an undisputed leader of the seas.
A coronation was held on Hydri, the first home of Oceanus and where the King's Tomb is located. All the remaining Stormbloods gathered to bless the rise of a new Ocean King.
Diggory of Eidon, as well as his only son were killed by Eelisma and Thormund. A few remaining citizens that lived through the hellfire as well as some of the mudguards arrived to bear witness. Miles the Mudman could be seen behind the crowd selling mud pies.
Quinn of Kyra, assisted on her casted leg by Condor. She was wounded by the powerful Lord Thormund in the Battle of the Rising Tempest.
Maximus of Hydri, wearing the ancient ceremonial armor of his ancestor. Next to his wife and child, Kricia and Illia. The soon to be crowned Ocean King.
Kricia of Milos, is soon to be crowned the Ocean Queen so her younger sister Krysta becomes the new Stormblood. Krysta stood next to her older sister in awe of what had happened in a few short months.
Ivan of Ios, Stormblood with his mainland wife Raven and their family. They had workers carefully lay Parsellax to rest on the hills of Hydri. Cortez was next to his old captain Ivan and being uncharacteristically quiet.
Winella of Kinaros, accompanied by her granddaughter Winni. Both looked elegant as they represented two different generations of rulers of Pacura. Brunhild of Gyaron, holding the hand of her battle weary mother Valda. Brunhild is the oldest daughter of Tayne, she is clearly distraught as she holds her tears in check over her missing brothers and dead father.
Eelisma of Basilika, killed by Henri Sallya is without an heir. Maximus will decide what to do with this island now that the war is over. Rumours are of a shrine honoring Sootha, something that should have been on all the islands as she was all the stormblood's great ancestor.
Therakles of Typhon, a young 3 year old bears a heavy weight as he can see his father chained up for his crimes. He is quietly crying out for his mother. A caretaker holds his hand and comforts the boy.
Borigan of Zephyr, escaped aboard the Rosebud towards the mainland, no living heir to dispute Maximus' claim.
The Stormbloods walks up except Winella, she quietly passes the mantle of leader onto her 20 year old grandaughter, Winny. Winella places the blue flag into her heir's hand then the old woman places her hand on top of Winy's to close it gently.
Each Stormblood brings their blue flag of parlay and places it at their king's feet, giving their loyalty to follow him as one nation. Each of the 6 remaining Stormbloods: Quinn, Winny, Krysta, Brunhild, and Therakles hold their blues flags emblazoned with the symbol of their individual nation.
Conch shells blare as the new king is sworn in. Azalea, Iggy's wife from Kyra, is the designated keeper of the kings armor as well as his weapon. Her family has kept these treasures safe for generations. She gave him the armor when it was clear that his claim would not be contested by the overwhelming amount of stormbloods you helped gather on his side.
As the conch songs settled, she approached him with a dark silver trident that had rosegold tips atop its spikes. She gifted him the Imperious Trident, a weapon his ancestor used to free the ancient men from oppression. He carefully takes it from the citizen of his nation and closes his eyes. He lifts the trident up as the new Ocean King.
"All Pacurans are whole once more, for the first time in 10 generations our people unite under one Pacuran banner. Any who seek to seperate us will feel the wrath of the sea itself.
I wear this armor to show I am here to defend my country. This trident is meant to show my power over the ones I rule. I am not Thormund, Borigan, Branahan or Thresh. You the people are my power for I would not be here without you. I promise to use the power you have given me to allow Pacura a seat in the hall of kings where we will receive our fair share within the High King's quarters. You the people are why I stand before you now. This weapon is a sacred piece of our history and I accept this gift". Maximus looks to Therakles, he then looks to his cousin Thormund.
"You are charged with treason against your king and against your people, with the power given to me by my blood, the justice distributed to me through the 6 kings of Galfin, the heart you stole from the people of Eidon and the duty passed down through our great ancestor, I sentence you to death."
Maximus stabs thormund through the chest. Three puncture wounds easily cut through Thormund's black and gold armor. Max picks up the blue flags of parlay, wipes the blood from his trident with the flag bearing the Typhon logo and hands it down to Therakles. Max leans down to the boy and says "In the name of Pacura, I grant you permission to live. For boys are not guilty of their fathers mistakes."
Thormund lay on the ground spitting up blood. Maximus looked to Ivan, who hated Thormund, Maximus nodded as Ivan took out his cutlass and decapitated Thormund.
He then walks around the circle and gives the flags back to their respective Stormbloods.
The ceremony wraps up as Max makes his way over to the party.
"My war is finished but i fear your's is not. I cannot thank you enough for the assistance you have given the people of Pacura. I hearby honor you by declaring you Heroes of the Rising Tempest. You are now honorary citizens of Pacara. If you ever need to sail and a Pacuran is aboard that ship, they will give you free passage to anywhere in the world you would like to go. I also task you with one more bounty, if you see Borigan as he runs from my wrath, if you capture him, I will pay you out 2000 gp each. As I said, my fight may be over but you four breed trouble. I hereby gift you the Imperius Trident as a thank you for what you have done for us. I'm sending the remaining mudguard back with you to Eidon, Mako will be waiting there for you, we have something special for you to see".
Before you set sail from Hydri, the remaining stormbloods catch up to you at the Gobsnapper, which Izil, Skalden, Franny and Stefan has sailed here from Ios after you guys teleported away.
