Dhow
A dhow is a type of ship primarily used for trade and transportation. It is designed to be fast and agile, with an elongated hull and a triangular lateen sail that allows it to navigate coastal waters and open seas. The ship is powered by wind, but may also be equipped with oars. It has a large cargo hold to accommodate goods, and is crewed by skilled sailors. Dhow may also be equipped with weapons for protection against pirates or for use in naval warfare and reconnaissance.
