Capitainness
Sossari was never meant to rule, but the tides had other plans. When the people of Eidon could not decide if she was a captain or a queen, they called her both. Capitainess—borne of reverence and necessity, a name as unshackled as the woman who wears it. She is neither sovereign nor simple sailor, but something in between, a figurehead that does not sit idle. She commands, but does not reign.
Her authority is not carved into stone nor held up by bloodlines, but written in the wind, in the pull of the ocean that calls her and the Shatterbrand ever onward. The Capitainess does not linger in palaces or debate over laws—her rule is one of action, of sharp instinct and sharper steel. And yet, for all her distance, Eidon still calls her their own, a name spoken with both pride and expectation.
Born from a blend of maritime tradition and a slip of the tongue, the title "Capitainness" uniquely captures the essence of leadership within the Shatterbrand. It symbolizes authority on both land and sea, representing Sossari's dual role as a revered ruler and an adept naval commander.
Your Highness mixed with Captain.
