Bonding
Overview
The full magic of bonding is only given to the Anslata elves. However other races can benefit from it, weapons and armor if old enough can bond to none elves but only under when the items purpose is met. Furthermore other races descended from the Anslata elves have certain bonding abilities, for example the vald elves are capable of crafting items that can greatly harm a draconian beast. And some Vald elven ethnicities can bond to certain draconians, such as wyverns and drakes.
Boinding refers to ones soul binding to on item or creature, This only applies to musical items, weapons, armors, and draconic beasts. However family bonding is through blood, with the exception of the spouse. However only elven made weapons, armor, and musical instruments can awaken and bond.
In order to create such items the elves inscribe the items with the ancient elven language. This language is only written and never spoken, as it is meant for the use of bonding and nothing more.
