Copy
"You may have rescued your friend from us. But you see, I want him back."
-Copy, implying that she will take Esbjorn's soul
Copy was one of the original Devoted and bore The Original Mark. They held the ability to steal the souls of those they killed, enabling them to transform into the creature by using their soul as an identity, even taking over personality quirks and memories. They also held the ability to swap between those identities at will.
Appearance
It is not known what Copy looked like originally, although the Original Mark was visible on their hand as an Half-Orc man, it has currently not been clarified if they retain the mark when taking on the appearance of other souls they possess. Whenever they take a soul through killing a creature, they take on the exact appearance and physical properties of said creature. This was demonstrated when he skewered Esbjorn with the tail of his Wyvern form, killing the dwarf and taking over his appearance, clothing included.Personality
Copy thought very highly of themselves, claiming they were immortal to the party when asking why they would ever let the party live after taking Esbjorn away. After demonstrating their power, they reiterated their claim of being immortal, and advised the party to flee before they felt like killing the rest of them too.Relationships
Enkrana / The Soulmass
Copy met Enkrana before he became known as the Soulmass, granting him the original mark and any power it may hold. Copy works to act out the will of the soulmass. The Devoted
Copy is part of the organization, and worked together with those aligned with it, primarely individuals like Ikran.Esbjorn
Copy had known Esbjorn for a little amount of time at minimum to where they would casually react to rude interactions with the Dwarf. Copy seemed to be interested in the powers Esbjorn possessed and wanted to take his soul for themselves, which he obtained after slaying him following an encounter with the party.History
Prior to the campaign
An unknown amount of years before the Relic Hunter campaign began, Copy allegedly met Enkrana the Revolutionary, who would later be known as the Soulmass. Enkrana granted Copy the original mark of the devoted, and it is implied that with it he gained his power to copy the physicality of any souls she stole.Arc 3 - Pirate Arc
On the 15th of Griffus, 532, Copy was in a house in Bibia with Esbjorn, who was under charm of the devoted by ways of the Moonstone Charm made by Ikran. They were arguing about something as Esbjorn needed something from Copy, who nonchalantly answered that 'He should know them, that they would get onto it'. Shorty afterwards, a knock on the door led Zero Beatdown and his cohorts to be allowed inside, who showed the both of them the original mark on his left hand. The Half Elf stated that he was told to find Esbjorn, given that he would know where to find more people like him. Copy, as an half-orcen man, showed him the same mark of the original that they bore on their own hand, but failed to recognize Zero. They asked for his name, which Zero answered truthfully. Copy stated that the members of the devoted have changed their own names many times over the centuries, to which Zero responded that he would not know any other name he might have had because of his amnesia. After a brief discussion, Esbjorn was suddenly attacked by Daine Treebound, who had been hiding behind his friends in order to not immediately provoke the dwarf, as they had a hunch that Esbjorn would try to kill him under command of the devoted. Before Copy could react, a Hold Person spell was cast by Eris, who tried to paralyze both them and Esbjorn at the same time. This spell was only effective against copy. A few seconds later, Eris tried to recast the spell so Esbjorn would also be paralyzed, but it again only worked on Copy, who managed to draw their Greatsword before being unable to move again. The battle ended once Deckie was able to pull the necklace off of Esbjorn, freeing him from the charm. When the spell wore off, Copy congratulated the party at getting their friend back, but questioned why they would let them live now that Esbjorn was taken away from him. Daine responded by saying that his group outnumbered them, to which they laughed and claimed they were immortal. Copy walked over to the frame of the door and leaned against it, stating they wouldn't let the party leave so easily. Eris tried to cast Hold Person again a couple of times before Copy was yet again paralyzed by it, after which the party left. Shortly after the spell was once again broken did Copy transform into their Wyvern form to attack the party outside. The people outside surrounded the wyvern by flanking it from four sides, including a Guardian of Faith spell from Eris. When Copy wanted to act, they moved their wings in a motion as to take a way attention from the wyvern's tail which skewered Esbjorn, killing him by a combination of the piercing damage and poison injected by the needle at the end of the tail. Shortly after, Copy transformed their appearance to that of Esbjorn, telling the party that it was the true nature of their power. They advised the party to disengage, before they would murder all of them. Copy told Daine they would surely meet again, as they now understood through Esbjorn's memories that the both of them were crewmates, and that Copy would soon go after other members of The Brass Leviathan. The party, barely responding, let Copy walk away, before transforming into a small bird and flying away.Character Information

Additional Information
Aliases
- Copy itself has been implied to not be their original name, rather one they changed to over time.
- Esbjorn, the identity of the dwarven pirate he killed.
Trivia
- The DM has implied that there is a caveat to Copy's power, after it has been pointed out that without one, Copy would be one of, if not the most powerful being to ever exist. This would make his subservience to Enkrana pointless as the devoted would be able to act out his will without ever needing to return him to this world. Instead, Copy would be able to take over increasingly more powerful creatures and be an unstoppable force without an equal.
- Despite being one of the original devoted, they did not recognize Zero Beatdown when they first met, although both bare the same mark.
