Dwarf

the dwarves have a origin related to the giants, they were maybe a failed creation of ymir, or they maybe were corrupted humans, possibly a indirect creation of another giant, or the first dwarves were born from the souls of the dead Ymir, when Ymir died, His godhood souls is what awakened the first dwarves, people say the dwarves rose from the body of Ymir because of that.
The dwarves are a bit short and wide stocky creatures, they are really hairy, the woman less so than the men but still clearly more than human woman.
dwarves have always felt an affinity for rock and ground.
Probably because they came from the ground, they are close to earth elements in the same way some of the giants are close to certain elements too.
the Duergar are the deep underground dwarves, its a common held belief among them that they are the purest ancestors of the first dwarves, the purest in touch with the earth, using their natural magic as the justification.
