Ewenn is laid to rest

Having been on her trail the day after her departure, the rescue party from Meadowbrook is devastated to learn of Ewenn's demise. They bring her body back to the hamlet and begin preparing for her funeral.

The denizens gathered adorned in dark clothes of mourning around the casket that holds Ewenn who is adorned in ceremonial armor. One by one they say their peace with the dead, each person placing chrysanthemums on top of her casket. Once everyone has gone, the Oliver and Lydia Gravestone lower Ewenn into the hollowed grave they have prepared for her next to Vash’s father.   Colton takes the loss particularly hard and vows to find her killer and bring them to the sword.
