Positive Loccism

Also known as "Divine" Loccism, Positive Loccism (or "Positivity/Positiveness") is the state religion of the Sea of Hope. In the Shovai Language, the philosophy is called "Nîm Loccul." "Nîm" refers to certainty or assuredness, rather than "positive" as in "optimistic." Nevertheless, the term "Positive Loccism" is common elsewhere due to its loose association with "hope." "Nîm," then, refers more to Truth, to some all-abiding knowledge or understanding of the world, which Positive Loccism purports to provide.   Loosely speaking, all Loccism worships the sea as the source of all life. Positive Loccism uses the ocean as a metaphor for enlightenment and connection with the world at large. It has five Paths of Enlightenment (or schools of thought), each associated with a mythical sea from before the Flood.   The Wave of the Spearhead
The Wave of Feathers
The Wave of the Leviathan
The Wave of White Horses
The Wave of Storms
