The most recent era on Gaia Protarkas, Gaia-18 is best known for many of the scientific achievements that reached their apex in the current era: concrete, radios, Lyne tattoos, Hecatsfen, theoretical astronomic navigation, and the beginnings of genomic mapping.
Socially, Gaia-18 is remembered as a time of rampant racial stratification. This would climax in the Bloomial War that ushered in Gaia-19, though its effects would continue to reverberate into the present day, most notably in the Crystal Kingdom.
