The Gilded Marlin
A sizable tavern with two stories. The main floor is spacious, with a sunken central area for seating, with more along the raised sides. Its upstairs is split into two areas, one is a private meeting space, and the other is a rentable room, for anyone who needs a place to stay. Like many similar establishments, brawling is not permitted inside.
The bar is run by a Triton named Remes Jelunsath , a retired marine who helped defend the harbor’s merchant ships from pirates and raiders for many years. Now that others he trusts have taken up the role of merchant marine, he’s happy to defend any of the bar's patrons from unsatisfying food and drink. He can usually be found at the bar, standing in front of the namesake marlin on display.
The menu specializes in seafoods, and its drink menu includes many styles of spice rums.
At least once a month, it hosts a 'Knights Night', when it serves exclusively members of the Knights of the Wrequeners
