Their long lifespans allow a level of mastery that few other races can reach. Gender Ideals
Elves have less dimorphism and fewer distinctions between gender than most of the intelligent races in Frigranden. Some elven societies are matriarchal, some are theocratic. Expectations are similar for both genders: learning to appreciate and create beauty and protect the natural world. This includes not overpopulating the world, so elves produce children rarely and they are well cared for.

Elves share what they love with the people they love. For many, they make music or paint together. Shared passions breed other passions.
