Background


Morag has spent many years living in the Hatchie Forest area of Dixie. She hunts and works as a guide, regularly coming into Memphis to interact with traders and clients. She mostly keeps to herself, but has a good relationship with the locals, including Memphis Sheriff Marko.
  Three years ago, (in 2314) Morag came across a strange body in the woods. The human was weeks dead and wearing a faded pre-war military uniform. The only salvageable item on the corpse was an advanced rifle. To Morag's surprise, this rifle was equipped with a sentient AI aim assistant. This personality called himself Beau, but had no memory of his service to the dead man. The two continued to live Morag's outdoor lifestyle as a team. Beau is a rough character with a gruff Cockney accent, but endeavours to be moral in his use as a rifle.
   

The Game


Story Arc 9 (Kentucky Dam)
Morag was traveling to Memphis to resupply when she heard shots fired in the streets. She approached the signs of combat, and found the battle already over. Arminius and Linda were lying on the ground, injured from the encounter. Beau felt bad for them, especially Linda who had lost her last friend from Emancipation. Sheriff Marko arrived on the scene soon after. Marko suggested that Morag would be a good guide to take them up to the Kentucky Dam. Beau asked Morag to take pity on them, and she agreed.
    Story Arc 10 (Betrayal)
Morag quietly assisted Arminius and Linda with their journey, and watched as Patch Radam and Andy joined. She was guarded, still wary of people. But she aided the party in all of their endeavours, shooting what needed to be shot and repairing what needed to be repaired. Traveling toward Kentucky Dam, she crossed into the hunting territory claimed by the Colby family. The Colbys had made a deal with Legion bounty hunters to take in Arminius. There was a shoot-out, but Morag managed to spare the Colby brothers. As Morag interacted more with people, she began to feel strange. She began to realize that her true nature was as a Synth, but had no clue how to investigate that further. It was revealed that Beau the rifle was something called a Scion of Bob, a very special weapon revered by the Reavers religion.
      Story Arc 11 (War!)
Morag was disgusted by The Capitol and its repressive way of life. Beau commented that this might be the evil he had been made to fight. She met a family of Synths who warned her that The Railroad back in The Commonwealth might not be as benevolent to Synths as their reputation said.
