Having woken up the vicious byakhee, the party fought the cluster of nightgaunts. Just as the byakhee was all that really was left, Nearis Denitry managed to banish the byakhee. He explained to the party that they had stumbled on his peculiar Aversal experiment. It must've got out of hand with the nightgaunt psions being clever and independent. Could Denitry have been truthful...?

The party went to Fortitude Hall and kept an eye on the two possible invitees who could fit the descriptions of the Physican and the Joyous.

Joyous, An average build man that laughs a bit too much at everything.

For Daniel, Cassius insisted to him to inflate the truth a bit to blend in and be interesting for high society. Namely, tell the stories about their time in Lumencroft and fighting nightgaunts in the basement of Crodda University.

Wrench, seeing Teleran Magnus getting chastised by Lilienne, decided to step in and make a deal and arrangement about clockwork designs. Magnus, being nervous, hesitated and intends to make the deal, just not immediately.

Cassius deduced that Director Akord of the AID Institute is likely the Physician, considering everyone else around him don't seem like a sneeze could knock them over. For the Joyous, Wrench figured it's likely Filious Fantome of Clothworks and Tailoring.
