Investigating the Unrest
Inquiry in Fortitude Hall
The party investigated around the area, curious about what is going or as to why such a strong military presence is needed. What the overall consensus they have come to is how similar the crowd around the capital city, clamoring for reform, is to how Octmor got pulled down and the Artisans swiftly, and violently, gained control.
John and Daniel investigated inside the building, leaning on his credentials as an engineer to get access. Inside, John managed to even meet the Imperator, Donovan Foster. He explained that the people have become restless, believing the Artisans may have disappeared.
Caius' Input
Bostwick caught up with Caius Helvetican. He explained that he and Amadeus were not informed of these new soldiers coming to provide additional security. As much as he wanted Bostwick to get answers, he feared more for the crowd's safety should something agitate the Artisans.
Cassius's Sneaking
Cassius snuck along the side of the Hall, getting past the security. Up on the highest floor, he snuck past a vician by channeling his Blade of Refined Radiance to distract the creature. From there, he managed to sneak in and find the remaining six Artisans up on the highest floors. From there, he recklessly charged forward and managed to land a hit on one of them.
Outnumbered, the Artisans attempt to lash out but Cassius manages to flee downward and out the doors. John managed to give him a boost of air.
Gloria's Old Haunts
What Gloria found was a pale, former soldier who died during the Miralese Campaign. One of the Artisan's Horned Watch was also following him. Watching from the alleyway, Gloria watches as the Horned Watch becomes seemingly haunted by Shades, screaming in panic, before being dragged to a cellar.
Curious, Gloria catches up with the shades and the former soldier. They explain that she doesn't need to do anything. The Artisans will likely burn themselves out on their ambitions and they can find peace within the remains. Gloria dismissed their fatalism. She proceeded to the Hall, keen to save Cordero.
The Wrath of Inferna
Enraged by Cassius' audacity, the Artisans demand that Cassius be hunted. Of course, this leads to a chase out into the public, even the vicians, blinded by rage, reveal themselves to the public and surprising them all.
All it takes is for a command and a whistle. The blethers take and aim and without hesitation, fire into the crowd! With bayonets fixed, they then charge into the crowd with feral wrath never seen before. From above, the dire croddas swoop down onto the crowd. The cannons then fire onto the crowd, as canisters launch into the air, spreading out a burning smoke in the streets. The zealots of the Creed then begin whipping anyone in sight, unaffected by the acrid air. This is the wrath of the Artisans made clear.

You can spend a fate point to use Lore in place of any other skill for one roll or exchange, provided you can justify having read about the action you’re attempting.
