Before the Vengeful March
Meeting Bostwick
As the party makes their plan of action, they are met by Bostwick, a half-orc who is a former enforcer to the Artisans. He describes his interest in joining up with the party as a means of payback for turning against him.
The Wretched Watcher
While the party conversed in the tavern, Gloria noticed a watcher from across the street. She snuck through the back, into an alley, and incapacitated the stranger. After bringing him to the party's private room, they investigated the stranger.
The figure looked as if his features were smudged. His body had a putrid stench of death to it. It almost reminded the party of the wretches they saw back in the mists. Curious, Daniel detected a terrible affinity tied to the Null and sought to stamp it out using the light while Wrench helped him as best as he could. Miracously, they managed to pull it off with great effort.
The stranger explained that terrible darkness, he could only call It, wanted him to be a scout to find the light and return to a forest to be rewarded with his "freedom," hopefully. Though, now this stranger is under the care of the party.
Day of the Parade
The parade began and would come to a pause by the governor's estate. The Incarnate stepped forward to speak until he was interrupted by a disguised Cassius waving the Blade of Refined Radiance, declaring those who oppose the Artisans to rise up and he also challenged a fight with the Incarnate by the old warehouse.
The Incarnate tried to reassure the crowd but ultimately ran alongside members of the Ashen Creed to confront this masked stranger. It was all set up to be a trap. Wrench's air bomb went off, signaling for the party to quickly ambush them.
Will the Incarnate finally be unmasked?
