Weed Plants
T@Ö#Å3 as a whole isn’t very well known for plant life. In fact, it’s very well known for its tragic lack of plant life. Sure, people import and buy all sorts of nice colorful potted plants from Å+*4~, but as far as the natural plant life here goes, there’s not much to find. Dead flowers, dead trees, spiky shrubs and different kinds of weeds plants that seem to only exist to piss people off by growing in the worst possible places. But just because these weeds aren’t particularly pleasant to look at and only seem to cause trouble, that doesn’t mean they aren’t very diverse and also useful.
Where do they grow?
They grow just about anywhere and everywhere. Outside in the untamed wilderness, in forests, deserts, and in towns as well. They will find each and every crack in sidewalks, roads and even walls of buildings. That’s right, they will grow right through the walls of your home. They are quite a problem, Especially in East T@Ö#Ä3 and Wasteland, in areas where the buildings are a little bit decrepit and prone to getting damaged anyway. As hard as people try to chase these plants out of their homes, they are very stubborn and resilient and keep finding their ways back into towns. Unlike different herbs grown in herbal gardens of Å+*4~, people try to keep these plants away from their homes, in the wilderness where they belong. These plants are wild by nature and wouldn’t let themselves be tamed in a garden anyway.
Uses
With all that being said, these plants actually do have a lot of uses beneficial to people as well. They can be used as herbs to make medicine, drugs or even poisons, but they may also be used for cosmetics. I mean don’t do drugs or anything, but T@Ö#Ä3 nettle shampoo is right up there with the fancy herbal flower Fairy Gardens shampoos. Due to their untamed and unregulated nature they are risky to use, and get more often used for drugs and poisons. What will happen, someone will get poisoned even more? There is a lesser risk when you aren’t expecting a positive outcome anyway.
These plants are most often used by moth fairies. They are the ones the most knowledgeable in botany and herbalism, and the ones known to produce a significant portion of drugs and poisons. They are also used by non-fairy drug dealers, and sometimes even picked by random people who use these for smoking. These people are heavily frowned upon and looked down on even by moth fairies and drug addicts - what would have to possess you to such a thing? These plants grow on the dirty sides of roads and get peed on, it’s only a way to catch some nasty disease that even fairies won’t be able to cure.
Collecting weeds
As already implied, the weed plants growing in the cities are dirty and damaged, and as such unsuitable for use by normal people. Moth fairies and drug dealers who use these plants prefer to go out into the wilderness and look for these plants in forests and edges of deserts that still have some plants. They will go out on hikes that might take hours or even a full day to get as many plants as possible. When home, they examine and clean the plants, collecting the healthiest and best quality parts of them. That way they ensure that all the substances made from them will be suitable for people’s consumption. Or not, if they're making a poison.
When you’re looking for plants out in the wilderness you can never be 100% sure what you’re getting though, so it’s always good to be careful. Anything made out of weed plants could end up with some very unpleasant side effects.
