Ice Palace
One of the largest, if not the largest building of Flat Earth is not actually a building per se. The large complex named Ice Palace is carved into the Sacred Mountains of Mountain Area. This complex includes the residence of Glitter God and Satan, The Judgement Room and the Seed Vault salvaged from the Old World among other things. The mountain that it is located in lie on the far west of the Continent of T@Ö#Ä3 and are considered to be sacred.
History
Besides being one of the largest, Ice Palace is also one of the oldest structures of our world. One of the ones that predate the apocalypse.
Luckily, the people of the old world prepared themselves for a potential apocalypse in the future and created this seed vault[1] that contained all the seeds of the old world. Luckily, Glitter God and Satan were able to get their hands on this exact piece of the Old World after the event in which it got blown up to thousands of pieces. It’s only thanks to this seed vault that the plantlife, and more importantly, crops could be regrown in the New World. Soon realizing the importance of their acquisition, they decided it’s best if they are the one who stay in charge of this part of land. So, they placed it far west, too far for anyone to go and look for it. Being in a particularly cold area, many wouldn't dare to go there anyway. To stay close to the seed vault and their people, Glitter God and Satan decided it’s best if they they establish a residence for themselves here too, along with the judgement room to judge those who are going to hell, or have committed crimes.
Layout
Today, Ice Palace remains the same as it was when it was established. It still consists of the three main parts: residence, judgement room and seed vault. But the palace itself is accessible only through a labyrinth, carved directly into the icy mountains, same as everything else here.
Labyrinth
When you first make your way to the mountains, you might be lucky to find an entrance carved into the side of the mountain. If you enter it, you’ll be faced with a large labyrinth, spanning over 1ha and descends down for 3 levels. Same as everything else, this labyrint is carved into ice, and trapped inside its translucent icy walls, you can see people who attempted to find their way through but failed. Seeing these should be a reminder to turn back and exit while you still have time.
These icy hallways are mainly empty though, the main danger here is getting lost on the large confusing maze of dead ends and cracking sounds of ice, threatening to collapse at any moment. Considering this labyrinth has been around for thousands of years this shouldn’t be a real danger, but it’s unpleasant nonetheless.
Residence
Should you be lucky enough to find your way through the labyrinth, you would reach the entrance of the Ice Palace. The central part of the complex is the residence of Glitter God and Satan. It’s a large lavish mansion, entirely carved into ice. It’s a place that feels almost surreal, with it’s icy walls, elaborate wall carvings and hidden hallways leading into hidden rooms.. This fairytale place, hidden deep in the mountains, seemingly detached from time and space is a perfect place for gods to reside in.
Judgement Room
Close to the entrance of the residence, one will find an entrance to the Judgement Room. This is a large and cold room, where all the sinners and those just passing on to the other side will be faced with their judgement. The Judgement Room also includes the punishment rooms, as well as the hallway leading straight to Hell.
Seed Vault[1]
Last but not least, one of the always hidden in the Ice Palace will lead you to this seed vault. As in the Old World, it still holds the collection of all the seeds necessary for the survival of our world and its people.
Because this seed vault was essential in the rebuilding and repopulating of the New World, it is considered to be the origin of life itself, and as such a sacred place. It is so sacred in fact, that even fairies aren’t allowed to enter it. It is currently sealed shut, to avoid any tampering with the seeds locked inside. Only Glitter God and Satan may enter here, only to check up on the vault. All the seeds inside are to stay in perfect condition, in case they are needed again. Hopefully though, our Flat earth will never face another apocalyptic event as the one that made this vault needed in the first place.
