The home of humanity, and the last resting place of The Traveler
Geography
Mostly oceanic surface with several large areas of land known as continents. Each continent contains naturally formed mountain ranges and both naturally and artificially formed bodies of water. The inhabitants of the planet have built massive, intricate settlements out of refined materials harvested from on the planet surface and within the planet's tectonic layers that span a majority of these continents.
Fauna & Flora
The most common form of life on the planet is insects, followed second by fish in the ocean biomes. Humans also count as fauna of the planet, a highly advanced intelligent ape-like species that possess the capacity for upright bipedal locomotion and conscious speech. The flora of this planet is highly variable in size, shape, and species. Most of the former human living spaces are now rife with foliage as it grows aggressively anywhere ample water can be found.
Natural Resources
The number one natural resource that all life on the planet requires to persist is freshwater, which must be consumed to maintain biomechanical function. While the majority of the planet is indeed covered in water, most of this water is saline in nature and is unsuitable for this consumption by the planetary inhabitants, doing so would lead to death by a form of poisoning.
Aside from water, the planet also has large mineral reserves and veins of metal, much of which has been extracted and refined by humans to create their structures. The planetary flora can also be counted as a resource, as they can be processed into building materials and food.

History
The planet Earth is the birthplace and home of humanity, as far as they reached in the Golden Age it all came back to Earth in the end during the Collapse. Now it is where the Guardians and the Traveler make their stand against the forces of Darkness.
Tourism
Visitors to Earth are there to go to the Last City. The rest of the planet is no longer the sprawling metropolis it once was in the Golden Age. Outside of the Last City, the world is divided into scattered tribes and bands of scavengers constantly at war with the Fallen over scraps.
