Personal history

Sylvain's beloved moonfather, Eli, left the family when he was barely four years old. He was raised by his stern and often distracted sunfather, Han, and mostly spent his time as a youth reading or taking care of his younger sister Olivia. When Sylvain was 14, his sister went missing and was never heard from again. The loss of his youngest child nearly destroyed Han who drifted semi-aimlessly around the kingdom for several years afterward.
In his early twenties, Sylvain became exasperated with Han's listlessness and left the family to pursue magical studies in the Spire region.
