The society of the Technocracy is focused almost purely on either research or capital gain. Over time, the city has broken into two main factions, the forward-thinking Jysold party, representing the minds and students hoping to further their already impressive inventions, and to keep SUD secluded from the outside world. The Rosengold companies are a conglomerate of monopolized factories hoping to bring a new golden era to SUD by breaking its vow of isolationism. These two parties tirelessly lobby against one another, while the condition of the streets continues to worsen with each passing day.
