Crystallized Power
There are still boundless magical energies lingering and swirling in a miasma of power within the reaches of the Fargrow Depths. The Weave itself is so thick that it draws itself together and crystallizes into a rainbow of gems. They form with sturdy monolithic bases, and as they rise higher and higher they begin to sprout growths that branch out in a similar formation to that of a tree. As they naturally bundle together, the collection of these trees has been dubbed the Gemlink Forest. Formed from raw magic, the branches of these "trees" can be harvested for use as managems of intense power, able to harness and cast spells more easily than other gems, and are sometimes naturally charged with magics. This makes them highly coveted. However their power does not come without risk; fueled with so much energy, when discharged, there is a high risk that the weave uncontrollably surges out with unpredictable results.
Gemlink Guardians
The land itself seeks to expel those who hope to explore its depths. Like a living organism, it generates antibodies in the form of magic elementals formed of sapphire and jade, which hunt down and attempt to crush any being within their borders. Armed to the claw with the same wild energies that formed them, those able to withstand their mighty blows might well find themselves turned into a frog or flung five hundred feet into the air.
