Overview
HeroVerse news is one of the main news agencies in Faraday City. As its name suggests, its primary focus is on metahuman news, following the exploits of heroes and villains. Although it purports to be a source of serious news, in recent years it has put more of a focus on the entertainment side of its offering, focusing more heavily on the heroes (and even villains) as celebrities.Risks
Any field reporter appreciates there are always risks involved, especially in a place filled with potentially dangerous metahumans like Faraday City. And the prevalence of the low-level metahuman street gangs would seem to make it that much more dangerous. This would seem to make for a lethal combination for any cub reporter out to make a name for themself, hoping that the young hero they interview turns out to be the next Promethean or Captain Supreme.Ironically, however, since most of the new heroes are so keen to be interviewed or seen on camera (especially live reporters and not just automated news drones), that meant they were drawn to reporters like flies. So, at first, the reporters would get hassled or mugged by the gangs, but once it became obvious that the reporters were hero bait, the smart gangs wisely tended to steer clear of them.

Faraday City in an attempt to keep up with all the metahuman
activity. Ostensibly, this is also for the safety of its field
reporters, although many of them would rather take the risk
of being in a field than being scooped by an autonomous drone.
