The Eldest Children

In the beginning, there was only God. But he would not be alone for long and created his First Creations, the oldest of his children. Proteus, Metatron, Gabrael, and Lucifer.

In the beginning was only God and the roiling void of Nihilos. He Spoke into the void, filling it with Power. The calm space would become the seed of his Creation.   In this quite he felt alone, and set on filling it with life. The first life he created was a rough hewn Soul, the first Aethereal and Angel, Proteus, the First Born. Proteus was glad to be created, and loved God, but the quickly realized that it would be better to have more people and so God began working on another.   The Next Aethereal created was a soul that was much more refined and smooth, Metatron was the name he was given. Likewise, he was happy and set about his great goal in life, to record and recall everything, excited to see what would be next. And so he became The Scribe of Heaven.   Then came another, a soul that was ornate and complex like a fractal. This one was given the name Gabrael. He was glad to exist, and to have a maker who loved him. And he asked a simple question. "What else can you make?" God smiled, pleased that his creations were beginning to question him.   And so he said, "Let there be Light." And the seed grew exponentially, filled with a light brighter than any star, and hotter than would ever be again. And along with the light came a new being, radiant, and bright. They smiled at their new friend and gave him the name Lucifer.
