Falsmirror

In the beginning, the Creator made the Angels, the Heavens, the Earth, and Mortals. But many Angels could not accept these mortal beings and rebelled against their creator. They became Demons and threw the Mortal Realms into chaos. The War in Heaven was brutal and long, leaving deep scars on both sides, and requiring the mortal world to be rebuilt. Even then the demons reached out and tainted the new creation, leaving the mortals corrupted, and cursed to deal with evil.   After the war in heaven, they still feel the results. Humans barely know right from wrong and continue to grasp blindly about the world, wondering where they belong. Ichthioids struggle under the weight of oppressive gene castes and struggle in the dark depths. Fey hide as children, not knowing what to do, or who to trust in a dark world. Dragons hoard wealth and power as they form their own tyrannical kingdoms. The Hyperboreans have disappeared, nowhere to be seen.   They struggle, they succeed, they fail, they learn, they forget, they live, they die.   By their strength, resolve, wit, and magic will they rise from the ashes of the war in heaven or prove the demons right?
