Heaven

The Father's House has many rooms; if that were not so, would we have told you that we have prepared a place for you?

Heaven proper is a series of infinite planes, each a unique universe unto itself. Mobility both in and between these planes is unrestricted. Here angels watch and mingle with the mortals who have passed on, while the mortals find joy and explore to their heart's content. With the dangers of the demons, and the evils of the world gone, entire empires and civilizations flourish and grow under the glorious light of the creator and his guiding angels.   Souls who enter here are good and pure souls, often passing through Purgatory. The few souls who aren't are wounded souls, those who have died by cruel means or methods. They come to be healed of these wrongs. Additionally, a soul who enters here is allowed to stay as long as they wish, being able to be reborn into the mortal realm once again, though with their memories locked so they enter the world as though newly born.

Geography

Heaven has very little meaningful structure overall, each plane is mostly independent and each is a universe of its self-consistent space. Between these universes, distance and space become far more fluid and vague, allowing for travel over entire infinite universes as though it were a leisurely walk next door. It can be described as both concave and convex, where the Empyrean Throne is at the center and Purgatory constitutes the outer edge, or Purgatory represents the center and the Empyrean Throne is the outer edge.   Inbetwixt these universes in the empyrean void, there are navigational points and references that allow for travel between universes in some reasonable measure.   The largest and most present is the Empyrean Throne, where the creator makes his presence fully known and could be considered his physical location. It is always visible on the nearest 'edge' of the heavenly planes. It appears as a series of structures made of light and color, appearing as a trio of rainbow rings around a bright light from a distance.   The next largest is the Empyrean Rose, a location that appears to be on the opposite side of heaven while being adjacent to the Empyreal throne in reality. It appears as a massive flower of the purest and most vibrant red. This is what the Angelic Hierarchy calls its cradle, where the Seraphim go to rest, and where the Archangel gather.   The last is not a singular location, but a collection of similar locations that are spread about equally, moving in slow, predictable motion about the heavens. The Halls of Virtues are where souls go to recover from the grievous wounds inflicted on them in life, and where souls may go to learn about said virtue. These locations are described as bright multicolored lights orbiting about the hall. Each pattern of colors and motions is unique and can be learned and used to navigate about as one does the stars above the sea.
