General Summary

Session 1

After a long day of traveling, Balasar & Nib arrive at Stonehill Inn for a meal and a night's rest. There, having their meal, they meet a druid, Thia, and a young halfling, Jeffroy, discussing the jobs on the board. Together they decide not to bicker over who gets what jobs and instead work together and hopefully earn more money. They agree that the next morning they will travel to Gnomengarde to find out what is happening with Kings Gnerkli & Korboz.

Early that following morning, the party sets out. After only 3 hours into their travels, they discover a set of fallen pillars. Upon entering the circle, they are quickly set on by 3 dire wolves. Attempting to flee was not an option. As they tried to back away, the wolves pursued. Just when the party was beginning to doubt their level of skill, yelping puppies were heard. The wolves did not back down, but their attentions were diverted. Moments later, a group of unwitting thugs walked into the circle carrying 2 wolf cubs. Not one to be ambushed, Balasar took one final swing at the old wolf in front of him. As she lay there dying, the other wolves turned to face the thieves. With the help from the party, the bandits were slaughtered and the puppies were returned to their pack.
The /emaining adult wolves take only a moment to mourn for thier lost friend. One of them turns towards the party and speaks. "She was old. She did what she /new to do and would not regret her actions. We are forever thankful to you for assisting to rescue our young. Our pack owes you deeply."
