Arriving in Phandalin, Balasar came across a destroyed cart frozen solid. In the rubble were 2 goblins fighting over a cup. He managed to intimidate them to run away. After searching the record, he found a wooden coin with a depiction of a dragon, wings spread
Balasar quickly discovered the job board near town square where he met up with Nib. Together, they set out the find the herbalist in the windmill on Umbridge Hill. There, he found her hanging out her 2nd floor window, throwing books and household items at a manticore below. The beast was looking for a love potion. Balasar and Nib attacked and defeated the animal. Balasar gathered up a handful of quills before getting a note from the potion maker refusing to return to town.
On an adjoining property to Umbridge Hill, there is a Dwarven Burial site. The adventurers approach and begin to look at each of the 5 stones. 4, appear to be headstone markers, but the 5th, in the northern most position, does not have a name. Although the symbol on it does appear to be of Dwarven nature, it is not any known word or phrase.
Back in town, Balasar visited the Shrine of Luck, where he donated and received a Coin of Tymora. Also here, he ran into Anna Smit praying for her husband, Filbert Smit to return home. Her and her daughter, Clara Smit, had gotten quite hungry and he ran off with all the money. Filbert Smit was found at Shitz & Giggles, gambling away the family cow. He agreed to send Anna Smit 2 gold pieces and nothing more until he won back the cow. The man he was playing against, Bill Landerson, feeling quite confident, also sent 2 gp back to Anna Smit
Outside of the tavern, Balasar sees a man, running towards him but paying no attention to where he is going. Looking behind him, gaurds are chasing with swords drawn. As the man nears, Balasar leaps out and attempts to tackle him. The man does stagger slightly but corrects himself as the gaurds catch up. As he is being hauled away, Balasar looks down at the mud he's standing in, only to find another wooden coin. This one with a moon on it.
The pair made a stop into the Miner's Exchange and briefly met the owner, Halia. She stated she had been waiting on a delivery and asked if he had seen anyone coming into town or along the road. Balasar told her of the broken wagon and showed her the coin with the dragon he had picked up there. Without hesitation, and in one fluid movement, Halia reached out and removed the coin. Thanking him, she reaches into her pocket and pulls out a gemstone worth about 10 gold pieces.
"Trinkets! Trinkets!" Balasar & Nib run into a child on the street selling various items out of a bag. They purchased several, including a Wooden Doll, which was given to Anna Smit as a gift for her child. Along with the 4 gold pieces.

Before leaving the Shrine of Luck and heading towards Stonehill Inn, Balasar & Nib were approached by a begger asking for simply a meal and possibly a bed for the night. The party obliged and gave him the 6 silver needed for a night at the inn. In the morning, Balasar awoke, finding a full Heal Potion sitting neatly on his backpack.
