Wolf Den
A circle of mostly colapsed pillars stand in the forest. Here is where Balasar, Thia, Jeffroy, and Nib were set upon by 3 ferocious dire wolves. After several attacks upon each other, some chattering is heard in the distance, coming nearer. Moments later, 3 thugs carelessly enter the circle carrying 2 wolf pups. With the wolves attention diverted, Balasar takes a final blow to the matriarch's sister leaving her lifeless on the forest floor. The party quickly realizes the wolves motivation was not hunger or bloodlust, but protective. The group of brave adventurers turn their attacks towards the overconfident intruders. Along with the combined force of the wild animals at their side, the party manages to save the cubs and return them to the pack. With this turn of events, the wolves take only a moment to greive for their lost sister. The matriarch, Mishauna, speaks. "She was old." As she turns towards the group, she swears her protection to the party, as the remaining 2 wolves leave with the cubs.
With some searching, Balasar finds an old mirror.
