Director Edward Verres
Mr. Edward Verres, but you two aren't friends so you will refer to him as Agent Verres. The current head of the Department of Skullduggery and commander of its operations. Due to its staffing problems he often takes to the field allong with Agents Wolf and Cranium. He is a vey competent agent and commander when it comes to field work. Class wise he is a Rouge Inquisitor with a few levels in Wizard and years of combat experience.
He has worked for the Waterdeep City Watch for years and it shows. He has encountered so many possible dangers, most of which would make lesser men break under the stress, that it is impossible to faze him. He is a great tactical leader in the field capable of giving out orders on the fly while taking in every opportunity.
Personality wise he can be best described as a reasonable authority figure. He is usually calm and stern but not without empathy. He is not ruthless, far from it, his decided lack of Ruth is why he was put in charge of the Department of Skullduggery by Elminster. The situations that he and the rest of the department face will be difficult in combat and in morals. He does care for a few people his fellow agents, the city of Waterdeep itself, and his son Todd.
He was recently promoted to Director after it was observed that he was alreday running the place anyway, now its offical.
