The Mother Tree

Called such as its location between the dense jungle and the much more pleasant western forest gives it a connection to all the wooded area on the island and places it directly in the center of the island.

Only recently has the tree been identified to be a source of natural power on the island and drew the attention of a young druid: Serentha Moondrop. Serentha came to the island seeking new adventures fresh out of school and something drew her to the tree. With her Leshy Gerald, she remained at the tree and began to build a permanent settlement there. Shortly there after, the Moondrop Circle was formed and remain there to protect and learn all they can from the tree.

Purpose / Function

The tree is as old as the island itself, and is essentially a spring of magical energy from deep within the island. Druids who come and study by the tree quickly realize its potential and its need to be protected.

Alterations

A small shrine has been constructed under the tree, and nearby still underneath its branches, a few small huts and buildings have been made as a safe haven for those wishing to spend more than a few hours in the area.

Tourism

Druids come from far away to visit the tree, commune with nature, and study its properties.
