Twilight Lumber

Twilight Lumber is the premiere local business in the rebuilt town of Ylraphon. Magical technologies of the modern age are used to harvest and process the duskwood trees in the south of The Flooded Forest. Due to the small size of the duskwood grove, the trees are continuously being replanted and their growth accelerated. Many locals in Ylraphon who do not have business enterprises of their own work at the lumberyard for a livable wage.

The day-to-day operations of Twilight Lumber are overseen by Branton Ford, a gnome craftsman with a keen business sense and inventive approach to problem-solving. Branton works tirelessly within The House of Merchants and maintains an extensive privilege to use magic onsite.

At Twilight Lumber, focused magical power is used to work the metal-like wood of the duskwood trees. Branton's inventions have enabled precise cutting and other commercial fabrication. Products are shipped all around the region- most notably to the Dales, the Vast, and the settlements of the Moonsea. Due to the properties of duskwood, druids are particularly fond of the array of armors produced at Twilight Lumber.

The most prolific customers of Twilight Lumber are the sisters of The Orchid in the Flooded Forest. They buy pulp and other byproducts of the lumberyard for use in their papermaking rituals.
