Personal history
Born with a psychic mother and mundane father, his birth was a prophecy for greatness. Even from a young age, he received visions so strong and clear that it was undoubted that he would be the one to guide the heros of the future. He was indifferent to taking on this role, considering how scary these visions were.

They have been neighbors since they were children. They both could let loose with one another about their supernatural stresses and spent their time exploring the woods together. The two of them were very close for a while before suddenly Ryder became very distant from Crystal, which caused Crystal to become more isolated from the world. She really values his friendship and has a terribly strong crush on him that has persisted for years. Of course, he does not know this. And though he has come more out of his shell now and began talking with her, he still seems to be hiding things from her.
