Kieran Lockwood is a long-time member of the Asheville community. He owns and operates Flowers & More on main street and is only ever seen outside of his shop when he is eating at Marco's Pizza near the movie theater.

/*Kieran was born in Tir na nog to a very affluent fae family. He was a very weak child and immediately after he was born, his family knew that they were going to do a trade-off. Which is exactly what they did. Exchanging Kieran with a mortal child in the middle of the night. He was raised up by a modest middle-class family with no other siblings. He proved to be incredible at most everything he did, especially his studies. Kieran made friends with everyone he met and easily made connections which he used to his advantage. From the moment he knew what a doctor was, he knew that's what he wanted to do. To help people, to heal them. So he gently pulled some strings and got himself a seat in the Harvard medical entrance exam. And with a perfect one hundred, he was admitted. Where he spent 5 years intensively studying medicine and getting impeccable grades. He was the ace of the school, the professors' pride. Scouted by many doctors, he eventually made his home in Richmond City Hospital, helps treat those who came under the sway of the Spanish Flu. It was here that he met his girlfriend. A permanent patient diagnosed with leukemia. She was so kind and very lonely. He spent most of his time there in the hospital either doing his job or spending time with her. He loved her so dearly, she was his companion. But... her condition was deteriorating. He felt that all of his research was leading up to this... he did so much work. Trying to find a cure, running tests with his own and patients' blood. But whenever he accidentally cross-contaminated his blood with infected tissue, he made a discovery that would change the world... His blood was magical. And its properties... healed. He secretly began to administer it to patients through their blood. It was miraculous how quickly it healed them, they were cured! And his girlfriend... it made him so happy to be able to spend time with her outside of the hospital room. Going on dates, being intimate. It was heaven... for 3 months at least. That's when symptoms started to show. Rapidly mutating cells that were replacing healthy cells, veins turning green, blood running cold. He watched as flowers blossomed from his lover's wrists, and the light left her eyes. The light died in him that day too. He dropped off the radar. Finding a place in a nearby small town and getting himself a job at a florist shop. He was a total recluse outside of his job, he hated himself. Survivors guilt you could call it. He figured if his abilities worked on plants than he was better to just use them for the plants. It was here that Ryder's grandfather found him. He made him a proposition. To help supply them with an amnesiac they usually could only get from a fae dealer, and in return, he would be helping save the lives of people who deserve to live in peace. Ever since that day he has worked closely with Ryder and the family. He opened up from his shell just a little and can be seen socializing with Marco at his pizza joint some evenings.*/
