Zampogna (ZAM-POH-NUH)

Overview

Zampogna, the Glades of Spring, is a dense forest, heady with the scent of flowers. Patches of Feywild are dotted throughout, and unlike its neighbors, its central citadel is difficult to find. While the elves here live in deep communication with nature, travelers will find themselves easily lost and disconcerted. Rather than the large, rolling mountains of El’Gardel, Zampogna is nearly flat, with small hummocks and divots. Many of the elves here live partially underground and in tents, with large outdoor communities being common. The main citadel itself is cut through by a low, wide tree.

Leadership

An ancient but unaged elf with violet eyes, Lady Alexandria was the former advisor to the three Sons of Fetero Fidi. She is seldom seen, preferring to hide away with her handmaidens in Zampogna’s citadel, Orre, a hidden overgrown oasis in the center of the land. Her handmaidens are known for their scrying abilities, though to be accepted into the cloister is rare; to understand their prophecies, even rarer. Alexandria has come to be known among her kin as The Lady of the New Leaf.
