Stardart 12

In a nutshell...

The Stardart 12 is a nickname Kenny gives his primary offhand weapon of choice. Foremerly a regular Dart brand foam dart gun, it was modified by a Miracle Comet performed on it to try to emulate how he made the Spacebat. Though Comet doesn't quite have it down perfect, it worked rather well for a Celestialite in Wish Training. The colors weren't changed from the original, as the Spacebat, so it kept it original, gaudy, bright color scheme complete with the "this is not a gun" orange on the end... which is why people don't usually take Kenny seriously at first. It looks like a toy, until he fires it.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The gun actually taps into Kenny's BioEnergy, much like the Spacebat to fuel a few special techniques, aside from adding the Force damage needed to make a foam dart actually hurt. For a few examples, one technique is to fire one shot with extra power after charging it up, another is to rapidly unload the whole clip and another is to fire off a staggering shot that'll keep an enemy busy for follow up melee attacks.

Significance

The Stardart 12 was created after Kenny and Comet got aquanted the next day after they met. Kenny was surprised how Comet changed his bat into what basically an energy sword and jokingly brought up his DarT brand dart gun being some kinda laser gun. Comet said that he could probably actually work with that. Despite being inexperienced, Comet was able to change the ordinary foam dart gun into a toy gun that shoots darts is now a gun able to shoot the darts super fast. We're talking a concussive "magic missile" here... well, minus the homing abilities, of course. Thus the Stardart 12 was forged! ....made! ....modified?-- it's a thing now.

Not lethal, but it'll hurt like a giant wasp sting if you're hit with it. It has about 12 shots in it (which is where the 12 in the name comes from), but reloading is also done by Comet, retrieving them from wherever they are to reload the gun with this kinda neat vector-y reload animation. It's like reloading with lasers!

Rarity

DarT brand foam dart guns are as common as sand and come in many different variants. You can go to most stores that have a toy isle and get one for a few bucks. The Stardart 12, however, is unique to Kenny, being a Miracle modified item.
