Yanéga

A seaside town located in the region of the Abakan Jungles and built on the mouth of the Yané River. It is the southernmost settlement in Soliemia. Yanéga is a city-state and a member of the Republic of Orisima.

Government:

The town is governed by three elected senators from within the town's population. Usually one senator remains within the town to govern it directly while the other two senators reside in Orisima, representing the interests of Yanéga in the Orisian Senate.

Defence:

The town is defended by a garrison of the Tidewatch, the local guard of the Republic of Orisima, and a small fleet of ships.

Commerce:

Yanéga’s main export is stone and minerals mined from the Stormpeak Mountains. The miners use the Yané River to quickly transport produce downstream to the town. 
The town also has a small fishing trade and farming industry, harvesting fruits and nuts from the nearby jungle.

Geography:

Yanéga is located within the Abakan Jungle, positioned on the mouth of the Yané River and the sea. It is walled with mostly wooden buildings with a small harbour near the sea.
