Threskeia

Threskeia was once the major mageocracies active during the final years of the Age of Arcanum. Threskeia was a floating city located in the east of the Kuai Archipelago.
From what little information we have on Threskeia, it was known to be exceptionally wealthy and was a major polluter of the environment. The people of Threskeia exploited the natural resources of the Kuai Archipelago and the sea to fuel their industries, making them exceptionally wealthy, but at the cost of the local environment. Records say that the sea around the city was black with oli and the sky filled with dense smog. This pollution of the sea led Threskeia to be in constant conflict with local Merfolk peoples, especially the city of Thalassrah.
But it was not Merfolk that brought an end to Threskeia, during the final years of the Age of Arcanum, Threskeia was attacked by the Ikathos Dynasty, and thrown into a bloody war. This war was part of a historical event known as the The Ikan Conquest. Eventually Threskeia would lose this war and the city was sent plummeting into the sea below.
It is unknown where the city ended up, with archeologists and historians unable to find any ruins under the sea. It is theorised that the city was either pillaged and stripped of all its materials or completely destroyed by either Ikan or the local Merfolk.
