Kith’urûr

Kith’urûr was one of the major mageocracies active during the final years of the Age of Arcanum. Kith’urûr was a floating city located in the south east of Elderan, near the modern day Deadwastes.
Records describe Kith’urûr as a floating volcano, the city is decrepit as being built around the tip of a mountain and due to the mass amount of forges and ironworks located within the city it glowed a dull orange and blew contant clouds of smoke into the sky.
From what little information we have about Kith’urûr, it was best known for its “magitech” creations, technological creations that were powered and animated by magic. Kith’urûr is credited with the creation of magical automatons, mechanical servants who were widely marketed during the Age of Arcanum, making the cit exceptionally rich. The automatons were designed to be simple household servants, to mechanical engineers or soldiers.
During the final years of the Age of Arcanum, Kith’urûr was attacked by the Ikathos Dynasty, and thrown into a bloody war. This war was part of a historical event known as the The Ikan Conquest. After the destruction of Threskeia many of Ikan's neighbours were prepared for invasion, it was said that Kith’urûr had legions of automatons ready for battle. The battle raged between the two cites for many years until Ikan revealed a secret weapon, Kith’urûr was completely vaporised by a massive magical explosion, the details of which are lost to time. The spell combined with the explosive industries within Kith’urûr lead to the city being caught in such a violent explosion there were no ruins or debris left of the city.
In the modern day the only remaining part of Kith’urûr’s legacy is the many inert and defective automatons that have been discovered across the world.
