Cerberus - Hound of Hades
Cerberus is the three-headed hound of Hades who guards the gates of the Underworld. He is a ferocious beast who is unwaveringly loyal to his masters Hades and Persephone.
Cerebus is one of the caretakers of the Underworld, assisting Hades and Persephone in the management of the Lands of the Dead. He is responsible for blocking unauthorised entry to the Underworld and preventing souls from escaping it.
Unlike a majority of Quasi-deities, Cerebus has animal-like intelligence and is incapable of speech. He was formerly one of the many monstrous spawn of Echidna before being tamed and adopted by Hades.
Appearance:
Cerberus is a gigantic, three-headed dog with a serpent-like tail and a mane of snakes. He usually has jet black fur, burning red eyes and long sharp teeth, but he is sometimes depicted with fiery red fur and veins of dripping magma.
