Darmo Sans

Darmo is the formal right-hand servant of the Dreamkeeper. Often curt in conversation, this stilted man plays messenger and diplomat for the Dreamkeeper. He delegates others to do work, hardly ever doing anything himself.

Personal history

The Seekers of East first met Darmo Sans after they arrived in Circsom. He approached the group as the representative of the Dreamkeeper, assigning the Seekers to embark on a diplomatic mission in exchange for a meeting with the Dreamkeeper.
When the Seekers return, Circsom had been attacked and Darmo was reported to have died—or at least went missing—during the attack.
Darmo was then seen, alive, at the Circsom refugee camp in the outskirts of Ace Hovel. There was a brief conversation where the Seekers learned that he—apparently—was indisposed during the attack on Circsom. The Seekers of East departed for teh Marble City, leaving the refugees in the care of a presumed cowardly Darmo.
While the Seekers of East were away, Darmo began sending groups of refugees to the east, into the Glasslands; to their deaths. The Seekers returned to the refugee camp as Darmo sent the last caravan. He intercepted the Seekers, forcing them into combat.
The Seekers discovered at this point that Darmo wasn't "Darmo", in some sense. They fought and killed the corrupted Darmo—and presumably—the corrupted Dreamkeeper.

Charismatic and conceited. Darmo will bark orders at those in positions lower than his, though flash a smile and display diplomatic manners when treating with guests. His confidence doesn't extend beyond the realm of social interaction, however.
