Jamin
'Twas Zaidan's Miracle elixir
That's what did the trick, sir. True, sir, true
Did it in a tick, sir. Just like an elixir ought to do
How about a bottle, mister?
Only costs a penny, guaranteed.
~Stanley Clark
Jamin lies to the west of Lake Haiyeti overlooking the sunset. Home to Shal’Azura’s famous bath houses and equally famous spas, the white marble streets are clean and calm. Within this serene district, steam rises like gentle spirits from thermal pools, curling toward the sky. The air is redolent with the soothing scent of lavender and eucalyptus. Murmurs of indulgent conversations mix with the distant lapping of the lake, creating a symphony of leisure. The tranquil atmosphere is punctuated by the occasional call of a hawker, offering ornate oils, expensive fragrances and finely woven linens. Amidst this tranquility, robed patrons drift from one sanctuary to another, their faces flushed with warmth and contentment, their steps unhurried as if time itself has decided to pause and soak in the peace.
Jamin was reshaped into a landscape of gently rolling valleys, embraced by impressive mountain ranges. Though these mountains stand only fifty feet tall, they appear to reach for the heavens, thanks to the clever work of the skilled technomancers from the Taqadum School of Technomancy. The once-mighty Jamin River was meticulously channeled and divided into a network of delicate rivulets and cascading waterfalls that glistens under the sun. Houses, designed with the elegance of miniature temples and palaces, are thoughtfully nestled within the serene mountain valleys, their rooftops peeking out amidst lush greenery.
In the center of Jamin stands Placebo Peak, the highest summit in the tiny mountain range, home to the renowned Zaidanya Healing Oil Manufacture. The viewpoint adjacent to the manufacture is a popular attraction for tourists, offering a stunning panorama of Shal’Azura and the cloud-filled skies surrounding the airborne city.
