Luna comes from another world where humanity is all but non-existent, where only machines still roam the mostly barren landscape. This, combined with her growing technical knowledge, led her to latch on to modern cultures and technologies of our world. Luna is a bit shy and reserved, but she's adventurous and always eager to learn more. This combination has led her to put on a psychological mask of an almost overly cheery attitude that hides her natural state of anxiety, a mask that sometimes manages to convince even herself. Luna has her own internalized sense of justice, a moral code she has built from the various media she has consumed since first coming to this world 3 years ago, but that code may not always line up with the law. Luna was born in a parallel world where earth is barren and filled with animalistic machines, in the only safe haven that she or her sister know of. At the age of 5 she found herself able to peer into another world full of animals and other people, and her sister brushed it off as the imagination of a child. At the age of 7 she inadvertently opened a portal to this other world big enough for her to be pulled through to the other side, where she found herself in New Victoria. For two years she was stuck in our world with no way back before she found herself swept away back to the Barren World. When she returned and her sister found out what happened, she started making Luna things to help defend herself on her travels. Now that she has once again been transported to this world, Luna considers playing hero using her abilities and equipment, even if it means risking her life.
