DeAndre Walker appears to be the definition of the Captain of the Football team grown up and not peaking in highschool. He has a sweet smile, a calm demeanor, and welcoming eyes. Raised in the South to believe in respect, family, and honor, he follows a set of beliefs that bridge the gap between lawful and practical. This appearance, this DeAndre, is a mask. A mask built from when he was 15 and first noticed his powers. The eldest son, he had to make sure he didn't bring another adverse on his family. Hell, they had enough issues being poor, people of color, and in the slums of Orleans. Adding an Evo would have been a deal breaker. So he built a mask, the appearance of the perfect gentlemen and leader of the team. It's not to say this is far from who he is, but the fears, the pits of emotions and worries he'll never be good enough, they swirl like a tempest beneath the surface always threatening to break free. His 'perfect' act also lead him to be poorly developed in the more 'adult' circles. Such as, but not limited to, talking to people in a personal context. Turns out a life of shoving emotions into a box does not assist you in talking to friends, or for that matter women, in any meaningful way. So Andre is plagued by an inability to properly articulate what he wants in any meaningful way on a personal level. "Oh, so this is what it feels like to feel..."Evo Abilities

Personal history
Born to a single mom in the slums outside New Orleans, DeAndre did not have a plush life growing up. Most of his past was filled with struggle and love from a Mom who did everything she could for him. It wasn't until High School when Andre started to show some skill on his school's football team that things started to change. From then on to College, DeAndre became a top tier Quarterback with even a few pro teams asking for him, always taking the opportunity to join SGA or other groups to pad his resume and painting the picture of the perfect, totally normal, child.
But when his Mother got sick right after he graduated, he moved back home to take care of her. Years went by, hard, painful years spent by her bedside, that ended on a rainy day filled with watery eyes. After that, Andre looked for a place to go after making sure his younger sister was still set at college from their Mom's life insurance money, intent on starting his life when the New Victoria Initiative was announced. All his life he had hid his powers, training only to limit his strength and making sure his feet were always on the ground. Only striving to be normal.
Now he had a chance to live his life without hiding behind the mask he carved out to hide the pain of growing up, losing his mom, hiding who he was. Finally, DeAndre has a chance to just live.
