The Sikherrit Jungles

The jungles of Sikherrit are a series of ecological systems each with unique ecosystems, peoples, and creatures. It is mostly known for being the location of the surviving Elvish nations as well as dinosaurs and other megafauna. The jungles of Sikherrit range from the eastern steam-forests to the village-sized trees of the western edge. Only broken by cities carved out by Langites in the last fifteen hundred years, the jungles are generally untouched by civilizations other than the Embereki, who have lived here since the first arrival of Elves on Illiria. The jungles are home not only to unique creatures, but plants as well, such as the spiraling tower trees Embereki clans often make their homes in, or the savage thorncats that feed on unwary saurian prey.

Geography

Sikherrit is massive. It's jungles cover everything from mangrove swamps to rolling hills and expansive valleys.

Fauna & Flora

Sikherrit is the home of dangerous predators and creatures not seen anywhere else, most notably dinosaurs. Carnivorous plants such as walking fly traps and assassin vines make their homes here. Drakes and wyverns are commonplace.
