Port Sulyos

Port Sulyos is a large treeborne city in the middle of the largest river of Sikherrit. It is a haven of pirates and thieves of all stripes and known to be a brutal place to live. It is infamous for it's wereshark ruler and monster-infested waters.

Demographics

The population of Port Sulyos almost entirely Elf, with a roughly equal makeup of Embereki and Langites with a Braithstrom minority. Seascarred Skinwalkers are more represented here than anywhere else in the world, as well as a sizeable population of their Nightskulk counterparts.

Government

Jean the Shark is the undisputed lord of Port Sulyos. As it's ruler, he has his men enforce his strict codes and charges pirates in need for his protection and services. The many children of Jean the Shark help enforce his rule in small sections of the city, where each of them rules his or her own large gang.

Defences

The city of Port Sulyos is set deep within the Sorrowful Trees section of the jungle. Jean the Shark feels the city needs no further protection.

Infrastructure

The city is built of enchanted witchwood set atop the sprawling mangrove roots of Eldest, the largest tree in the region. The levels of the city are connected by rickety bridges and ladders. Enterprising gangs offer transportation for extortionate prices. Under the roots of Eldest, multiple docks and shipyards float atop the river. Only one structure is built directly into Eldest, the ever-rising Sharkmaw Palace from which Jean the Shark rules his city.
