Salt King Jean Akorel Murphanen (a.k.a. The Shark)

Jean the Shark is the defacto leader of the Trisail Alliance, lord of Port Sulyos, and captain of the Razorfang. He is known to be a cruel man and effective ruler, and the only wereshark to be open about it.

Personal history

Jean was born into nobility as the third son of the Murphanen line. Disatisfied with his chances at inheriting his House, he used his familial training with ships to take command of a pirate vessel and eventually stole his family's largest and fastest ship, the Razormaw. With his new ship and loyal crew, he personally killed each of the gang leaders of Port Sulyos and set himself up as the city's ruler, crowning himself the Salt King. Five hundred years later he still rules with the aid of his ever-expanding family.
